This website is operated by Lawrence Chongwai Wu trading as Scaling Foundry (ABN 44 502 101 014). This notice describes how we handle information provided through this website. For questions or requests, email enquiries@scalingfoundry.com.au. We are based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Information you provide
The Scaling Opportunity Diagnostic collects your name, work email, business name, business description, team size, approximate monthly operational volume, software and tools used, selected operational constraints and any other constraint you describe, free-text responses about challenges, frustrations, ambitions and blockers, hiring plans, growth targets, and an optional staff cost estimate so we can prepare your Snapshot. The general enquiry form collects your name, work email, business name, optional approximate scale, and notes about your question. Providing these details is voluntary; without them we may be unable to respond usefully. Please do not include client records, identity documents, passwords, tax file numbers, or other sensitive information.
Why we collect it
We use enquiry information to respond, understand your requirements, discuss a potential engagement, and maintain a record of that discussion. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. If you become a client, your written agreement will describe the data handling for that service.
Storage and service providers
Enquiry records are stored in Scaling Foundry's Microsoft SharePoint environment through a Microsoft Azure endpoint. Microsoft also provides our email and booking services. The website host may process network information and operational logs for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for those purposes. We do not sell enquiry information.
Spam prevention and diagnostic data
The form uses an empty-field spam check. SharePoint stores a submission reference with each enquiry to prevent duplicate records when a submission is retried. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam. Cloudflare processes browser and verification signals under its privacy policy (new tab). Operational logs may record technical errors and request identifiers.
Bookings and third-party services
Booking a call opens Microsoft Bookings, where you provide your details directly to Microsoft to arrange the meeting. Its use of information is also governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement (new tab). Providers may process information outside Australia depending on their service and tenant configuration. We do not promise that all website or booking data remains in Australia. Contact us if you need details of the applicable deployment before sharing information.
Cookies and measurement
This website does not currently load advertising or visitor analytics scripts. Hosting, spam verification, and the external booking page may use technical cookies or signals necessary for their services. If additional visitor tracking is introduced, this notice will be updated.
Retention, access, and correction
We keep enquiry information while it is needed to respond and manage the related business discussion, and where retention is required for business or legal records. You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity and may need to retain some records where a legal obligation applies.
